Sarah & Charlie

Sarah and Charlie are returning to Vermont to celebrate their wedding in a place that has shaped so much of their story. They met in Burlington in 2020 while both attending the University of Vermont, and from the beginning, Vermont became woven into their relationship in a way that felt natural and lasting.

The state holds deep roots for both of their families. Sarah grew up in Stowe and has formed countless memories throughout the state. Charlie’s parents, Bob and Molly, also met during their sophomore year at UVM — a connection that eventually led Charlie there, too.

During their first foliage season together, Sarah took Charlie on a leaf-peeping tour of Stowe, showing him all her favorite spots. One of those stops was the meadow where they’ll be married in 2027 — a place that already felt special long before they knew it would become part of their wedding story too. Years later, when they began talking about where they wanted to get married, returning to Vermont — and to that meadow — felt like an easy decision.

In 2022, they brought home their Golden Retriever Nelson, who quickly became such a central part of their little family and was there alongside them as so many of their biggest milestones began to unfold. Later that summer, they packed up their lives and moved across the country to the Pacific Northwest, back to where Charlie grew up. What started as a big leap quickly became home. Between the mountains, saltwater, and slower pace of life, they settled into West Seattle naturally — building their business together and creating a life that feels deeply their own.

In 2026, Charlie proposed at one of their favorite spots along the Puget Sound while the tide rolled in around them. A perfect reflection of the life they’ve built together over the years.

Coming back to Vermont to celebrate this next chapter feels especially meaningful — a chance to gather the people they love most in the place where it all began.
